My Story
I first fell in love with my craft when I was a child attending a theater summer camp. IAs an elective I took "stage makeup" where I was taught how to create fake injuries and work with minor prosthetics. Years later while in college I again was involved in theater and was on the behind-the-scenes team applying makeup and styling wigs. When I moved to California, I attended Joe Blasco to learn all kinds of makeup techniques. I then began taking jobs working on student films and in the fall, season was hired as a prosthetic makeup artist at fright fest. Under the leadership of Scott Ramp who is the owner of Scream Team prosthetics I got better with applications, learned new makeup tricks and got in the groove of working fast.
I then attended and graduated from Aveda Institute of LA with my cosmetologist license.

Principals Important to me
Being a freelance artist has a lot of freedom and I love working on set, but I find it important to have as many skills as possible to work whenever possible.
With the industry I am in, styles and techniques change constantly. And it is vital to stay on top of the trends and evolve with the times.
I believe everyone should feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin.

It is important that I know my client's skin/hair wants and needs.
I pride myself on being able to work on all races, ages, and genders.

Punctuality. No one will ever wait on me.

Professionalism. I make lots of friends on jobs. Its important to treat everyone with respect and form relationships with fellow creatives. That being said, I can have fun, make my people feel welcome and safe but when its time to be serious and work, I can flip that switch fast.
